I don't know anything about getting it to work with an iMac, I don't know what OS an iMac uses.  here are the apple requirements for the UA-25EX

This is a driver for using the UA-25EX with Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard).
    • Compatible with Apple's standards of CoreMIDI
    • Universal Binary Driver (32-bit and 64-bit drivers)
    • Single/Multi processor support
    • Compatible with Mac OS X v10.6 "Snow Leopard" as of Sep. 9, 2009
does your iMac have this OS?  if not, it then it won't work.
