24/7 A new song.

anyone got an idea what genre you might call this.  I asked my wife--she scratched her head!  Of course I will look forward to helpful criticism.

Hmm... bit of a nod to Rockabilly, the San Francisco sound(Grateful Dead), and surf.
Mix is somewhat mid-centric. I just passed it through Nyquist EQ. Did a fairly wide dip centered around 1.8K, and it seems to sit a little better.
That side stick seems hot, and very dry, compared with the rest of the instruments. I'd be inclined to dial it down some, and expose it to some reverb. Kick is kind of muffled. I'd like to hear more of that.
Guitars and bass feel pretty good. I might bring that far left guitar in a bit.
I like the vibe, and the song is pretty cool, whatever the genre is.

Thanks for giving a listen, and the input.  I am going to go through it again with an ear for the suggestions you made.

I'm sure Bob's got some great ideas there.  I agree with the ones I could pick out.  :)  But I think it's a great song...love the tune and the groove.  Great playing and singing.  I haven't got a clue what genre though.  :)
