Can't find Amplitube in X1

I just got through installing X1 in  my new laptop which runs Windows 7. After starting a project in X1 I looked in the Audio FX plugins for Amplitube and was unable to find it. I also went into VST settings in preferences, browsed and place it in the VST scan folder but to no avail. In I noticed in windows 7 that it is located in "\programs files(X86)\IK multimedia\amplitube 3." Any ideas???

Thanks

if the amplitbe 3 .dll is in "\programs files(X86)\IK multimedia\amplitube 3." maybe you need to direct plug-in manager to scan there. this is likely if you installed amplitube before sonar

if your running 32 bit or 64 bit may make a difference where the plug is placed...sorry could be wrong..but its something to think about

to have the Program Files (x86) folder you must be running an (x64) OS like WIN 7.

As has been said you need to point OSNAR's plugin Manager to scan there. Also Amplitube is a 32 bit Application so it requires BitBrodge to run within a 64 bit program if you're running SONAR (x64).

If you run SONAR (x86) it will run without BitBridge.

It works with BitBridge fine for me but you may need to use jBridge so that it works with a 64 bit host.

If you don't understand what I'm saying then you'll need to do a good bit of reading about SONAR and how it manages 32 bit plugins in the 64 bit version.
