Windows on top

I often have VST's that stay on top even when they are out of focus (in parituclar with NI instruments).  this gets very frustrating when a pop up window comes up, but you can't see it or click on it because another window is on top.

any solutions?

Windows 7? Click the window, hit the windows key and left arrow (or right arrow). It will squeeze that window to the left (or right) side of the screen revealing the windows under it.

The workaround would be to close the gui for the VSTs not currently used.

To keep them up and minimizing still takes some cpu so it's a good thing to close it anyway.
