youd have better luck if you put them in the song forum rather than the x1 forum..they'll probably move it for you.

i keep forgetting about that, its more for using the prochannel posting here rather than opinions on tracks

I have the EMU 1212m and it won't work with X1. Win 7x64, SONAR X1b Studio, 1212m driver ver. 6.0.1.1246 I worked my way up through the updates including the Beta driver and latest PatchMix software.

The error message tells me either the driver is not compatible with the audio format or are in use by another application. It gives me the choice to "Disable" or "Use Anyway".  "Use Anyway" doesn't help as the In/Outs don't show up as options. I also tried uninstalling the PatchMix software thinking maybe it was being seen as "using" the drivers. No difference.

The card works fine on the machine otherwise. I can even record stereo audio on a video editing program. It's just SONAR X1 it doesn't work in.

Those new Focusrite Saphire interfaces look pretty nice...

Lot's pf folks have that card working with SONAR X1 on Win 7 x64. with the error you're getting it's indicative of some setting that's not quite right. You most likely have a conflict between your oonboard audio and the EMU.card. They have really good AD/DA convertors and its worth persevering to sort it out.

You were correct! I just had to go step by step through the PatchMix/SONAR setup again. The 1212m is back up and working like a champ! Thanks!
