mouseover: To be able to hover the mouse and use the mousewheel to control a parameter/knob. The channel strip has not had this from first version here on my system (see specs below) This could simply be me so please check and post works/doesn't work

No go for me. Was this mentioned somewhere that I missed it? Would be a handy feature, though I can see where someone might think it redundant since click & drag is right there available for use, but never mind, if it's a feature you need you need it!

True. It works great elsewhere why NOT add it to everything. It could be a shuttle jog in the transport section.

Well they did have this in a past version for a very short time. The problem was users kept complaining that it was too easy to change a setting without even realizing it. With X1 by clicking on a widget or nob you can change its setting with the mouse wheel. Some widgets do not allow the mouse wheel to do the change but others do. Those that don't have some means to do it with the mouse such as arrows for up down. I am not all that sure that as it is its a bad way to do stuff. I did run into the change settings issue when it had not been patched and it was a problem with the mouse wheel. If you wanted to scroll up or the tracks with the mouse wheel but changed volume instead that could be far and away more annoying. A single click on a widget will often get you what you want and with no inadvertent other change.
