X1b - am I missing the only thing I was needing? Last note selected in PRV

I work a lot in PRV mode and in previous versions, I could write in notes of the DURATION of the last note selected.  This is something that was missing in X1.  Several people complained of the same thing and even Brandon Ryan mentioned that many others requested this feature be returned and that it should be in X1b.

Tonight I downloaded X1b and installed it only to find out that change was not made.  Oddly, X1a was very stable for me and the only real upgrade I was looking for was the "last note duration" in PRV.  hmmmmm

Am I missing something?  I checked preferences and cannot find anything to adjust.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Joe

That's scheduled for the X1d release sometime in September...

So, other than that, how's X1b running for you?

So far so good.  However, I had really good luck with X1a.  I have always used cakewalk and have always had this function available to me....  I wish it would be fixed.

    Thanks

Oh man, I was looking forward to downloading X1b also b/c I thought this feature would be returned. It was one of the main reasons just like you. Sad to see it wasn't brought back :(

It's not what we're doing, it's how you do it :)

    chuckebaby,

I hope you didn't get the impression I was upset with you.  I just seem to remember the exact opposite of what you read.

I was really looking forward to this patch for this reason...........

Rockoman - you and  are in the same boat.  I seem to think MANY others are all well.
