X1b Narrow console view is bugged!!
It's not a huge, massive ground shaking error but . . . Did someone not notice that the, now longer track names, are all shifted to the right by a character or so and now cut characters like 'W' in half if they are the last visible character in the the window. This was the one feature I thought would just get sorted straight away. The whole overlay needs to be tweaked left to start at the graphic boundary and so we use ALL the friggin space available. The thread on this view ran to pages and pages. Honestly, does nobody check this stuff? It would be possible to see at least another character or maybe 2 if this was done correctly in the first place. Now we wait another 3,4,5 months. Gee thanks. What's with the leading blank space on the track name?! Why is the text 'Guitarw' cutoff to look like 'Guitarv'?!

Also, who thought it was 'neat' to make the track number go black when you mouseover it?

Wow! how does this get through? track number disappears, the whole point was to make room for longer names and space was literally wasted where you could have had a character. Wow am I disappointed! I'm one of those people who didn't like the complaining much. Wow. This blows me away! I could NEVER get away with work like that, in any of the jobs or careers I've had! Someone needs to get fired for that abortion !! WOW!!

I'm also noticing that if the console view is not full screened, the new place for the track number at the bottom gets a little covered up by the right/left scroll bar. Not a shattering bug, but yet another oddity. I noticed that extra space but I'm too tired to give a darn these days lol. It looks like they were trying to "center" the text -- but it didn't quite work out ;)

Also, they forgot to use a smaller font in the Fx bin so you could see more of the name of the plug-in.

creynolds Also, who thought it was 'neat' to make the track number go black when you mouseover it? LOL, I was going to mention that one. But what's funnier is that a tool tip appears to tell you what track number it is. Brilliant.

Yeah I'm with Somerset on this one... still downloading and I'm hoping this is not the case on my box... but your piccy makes me sweat a little... sure it's a 'minor' thing but I guess there may be a 'C' release pending after all? There's enough melancholic in me to find these details irritating. Keen about some of the fixes I have to say though... 'B' is the actual X1 release. Cheers....

I float the CV on a 2nd monitor, and the prochannel tooltips which feed back values for compressor and EQ controls still pop up on the other monitor. If you hover your mouse over a control, the tooltip pops up just below the mouse pointer, but as soon as you click to make an adjustment, the tooltip jumps monitors. So far I've not had any crashes or corruptions. There's certainly a fair bit more polish required yet. Cheers - Cliff
