[Report Submitted] Pro-Channel Pre/Post

X1b still wont remember if it is turned on or off each time I load the project. So, I have to manually go through the project and toggle the buttons (doesn't matter what colour they are). Anyone else confirm?

I thought that was one of the fixes in X1b?

That sucks if it's true. Now I gotta go and read the big bug list. Thanks...

Hmmm the Pro Channel POST toggle appears to work while you work in a project but...save, close SONAR and reload the project and while the button state (colour) is saved. The routing state here is not.

It seems to switch back to PRE. I need to spend some more time on it as there may be something I am missing here. But it seems to not be able to save the Pro Channel POST state properly once you reload a song.

There ya go, Nailed it. This is exactly my issue. Only when I re-load a project does it happen. So far it has happened on all my projects in X1a and X1b, so I know it isn't related to when it was saved. However, I am glad they got the modules working properly at least.

allenheresy, I can also confirm this behavior. The Pre/Post button's graphical state is saved, but the actual signal routing state of the ProChannel plug-in is not. That's really the worst possible scenario. Not only is the signal routing state not saved (bad enough), it no longer matches the graphical state of the button. I submitted a problem report.

I'd urge everyone to check this as I first thought it was working for me and then I took a much closer look and it is indeed as alanheresy and dwcaldwell say.

It is indeed the worst possible scenario in that what appears to be saved is infact not saved at all.

    That really sucks.

I  made my Prochannel settings and saved them as a preset but on saving the project and reloading it while the Pre Post  button showed the same as was saved all the elements of ProChannel were turned off when in fact they were all turned on when the preset then the project were saved.

I had to load a different preset and then reload my own saved preset to return the settings to their proper state.

man what a lot of futzing around.

If you can't trust what you are seeing,  than that really is the worst possible scenario.
