Bug?
X1b was taking a bit long to open, so under VST settings in Preferences, I unchecked "rescan failed plugs" and "rescan existing plugs", hit apply, and closed Preferences. After that, X1b was unresponsive and slow to act. I opened Preferences again, rechecked those boxes and it worked OK after that. I did this twice to see if I could repeat this performance, and it acted the same way both times. I'm just wondering if anyone else can reproduce this. Other than that, X1b has been OK.

Did you try exiting and relaunching Sonar?

I did indeed. Actually, I guess there's really no reason to uncheck those boxes because I've come to the conclusion that they have no effect on how fast X1 opens. I just found it to be a minor anomaly.

i have my preferences set so my plug ins dont scan on start up..should i set them up so they do when i install this B patch?

From what I gather, only need to rescan if you load more VST sounds

Other than that, you are just rescanning what X1 has already scanned and is aware of. On my system, it knocks out alot of launch time bringing X1 up. ;)

It is ok here too...
I keep those options unchecked and Sonar is opening "normally"...
(I think?)
