X1b - Groove-Clip Looping problem

I opened an existing X1a project after installing the X1b patch. All audio plays fine except for the Groove-Clip loop of a rhythm guitar. It sounds like pops and beeps instead of guitar chords. When the Groove-Clip Looping is removed from the audio file it plays fine.

Also, when auditioning loops in the Media Browser I get the same problem.

I did a complete uninstall and reinstall -- getting Sonar back to X1a. The Groove-Clip loops and loops in the Media Browser played fine.

Any solutions? X1c, perhaps?

I think Sonar X1(b,c,d,?) will be amazing, once all the issues have been resolved.

    Hi,

I just upgraded and had no problems, at least so far, with loops or groove-clips. They audition and play normally.

    Hi Charlie,

After wanting to revert back to X1a to see if X1b was causing my issue, I did a system restore. That didn't fix the problem. Even though I uninstalled and reinstalled Sonar to get it back to X1a, all my settings seemed to remain when I started Sonar. Even the last song I worked on was still in the start window.

It was not a total pain, like I thought it was going to be.

    Good luck,

    JON
