And now my friends, the long awaited..............X1b

At approximately 5:15pm (uk time) yesterday I downloaded X1b and installed it. By 6:15pm I had recorded a part of a new song.

So X1b made me deliriously happy yes? No! Here's why - I was one of the people who had little or no problem with X1/X1a and I could do all of that before. But don't get me wrong I am not unhappy i simply got what I was expecting and that is rarely exciting.

Other people on the forum I am pleased to say HAVE been extremely pleased whilst sadly others have been less so.

All I expected was that I would get what I had before (A working and stable recording environment) - I got it.
Others hoped that they were going to get their particularly annoying bugs fixed but weren't sure - they got that and more.
Others still, expected perfection from start to end - they were disappointed.

Ultimately all of our reactions are coloured by our expectations and all are equally valid.
