X1,X1a,or X1b is unable to read NEW Pan automation data.

Hello to all

Hopefully one of you folks will be able to assist me with Pan automation in X1b.

With a new track set with "READ = enabled" for automation and Filter type set to Automation = PAN,  my envelope data entered with the mouse or a control surface cannot be read back audibly or visually.

However, if I open an old 8.5 project with pan automation in X1b, the PAN envelope data is read and played back audibly and visually.

Overwriting the old project's PAN automation with the mouse or control surface resumes the issue of no PAN automation playback.

I have contacted Customer Support, but it has been slow.

Anyone have any recommendations on what to try or best practice in X1b for PAN automation playback?

    I have determined that reopening the project allows the software to read the 'NEW' pan automation data.  Perhaps this is an isolated issue?  I would like to see if this issue can be replicated on another system.  Any takers?
