wish MIDI tracks "channel" were like they used to be

although i REALLY REALLY appreciate the seemingly new feature of "patch browse" -- where you can browse/search by name or word thru patches, i wish that i could transpose with the + and - keys like i used to be able to do. It seems that other options are also unavailable like they were in 8.5.3.

has anyone found a fix for this?

Look at Key in the track inspector for transpose. You can still use +/- if you like.

This was one of my biggest gripes about Sonar that the inspector for MIDI tracks was useless now it has real purpose and usefulness.

Many controls are moved into the inspector now. Its kind of slow having things split into to areas vs. the efficiency of working in one place to set up tracks that we are used to.

At least in X1B they allow keyboard navigation in the inspector, or so I hear.

Do you mean hitting I for the inspector? That has been in X1 from the beginning.

I don't see that it was "quicker" before if you did not have all the widgets displayed in the track header due to not enough space or just showing a few of them. With the way it is now and with a dual monitor the inspector no longer takes up valuable screen space yet one has quick access to all the MIDI widgets.

One of my feature requests was to have the track inspector show all MIDI widgets which it didn't. Now it does. One no longer has to enlarge a track just to change a parameter.
