Drum Map Bug?
Don’t know whether this is a bug or not, but it would be interesting to find if anyone else can replicate what I’m seeing. On a drum map, in 8.5.3, if you double click any of the mapped kit pieces on the left hand side of the prv screen, you access the map properties for that piece and can freely edit any of the parameters. Also, you don’t need to close this box in order to edit another key/kit piece – you can still just double click the one you want and the visible map properties box will update to reflect the new key’s values. Now, in X1, the double-click functionality only happens for the first key you click, after which it’s now necessary to first of all close the map properties box, then right click the new key you want to edit, select Map Properties from the pop-up menu, make your edit, then click Ok before moving onto the next piece. If this is intended behaviour, then I estimate the time required to edit a full drum map will have increased from about 10 minutes to over an hour, due to all the additional clicking that’s required. If anyone can confirm this, I’ll fill in a bug report and let Cake know. Jonesey
