Would anyone but me like to see some more work done to make V Vocal Amazing

-I would love to see it able to run as an insert just to catch some stray bad notes and not always have to edit more manually.
-I would love to see it more customizable...ie. to be able to set all the values, like wavform preview turned off as default, and all the rotary nobs at at the bottom set the way i want as a default setting. (i know we can change some setting via the AUD.INI file, but that can be scary to me)
-I would love to see them address everyone's issues with the phasing  (as much as possible at least)

Anyway, I would love to hear some thoughts. I really love the basics on this little ad-on...i just think it could be nailed out the the park

V-vocal is a fantastic tool. I prefer it to the transpose tool for changing the key of vocals and guitar tracks. Especially with drastic changes because you can go in and change the formant so the key change sounds more natural. Plus, it's instant. When you use transpose it takes forever to render, especially on a full length track.

One thing I'd like to see, that I'm sure is next to impossible is, have V-vocal combined with Audio-Snap and Loop Construction View in one multi-tool. It would be nice to manipulate the slices in Loop Construction View with the time stretch features of V-vocal to fix timing issues, and to be able to change individual notes, all in one tool.

At this point, I think the next step should really be full integration into the Track View. It's where DAWs are going with this tech, and V-Vocal being a few years old now...well it's just time.

With it's current implementation lining up things to other project elements is extremely tedious bordering on insanity.

By integrating it, it also would allow some tweaking of the interface so the colors aren't as harsh, and obviously the workflow would be much better. I know it's gotta be a big chore to do but as long as we're riffing that's my stance on it.

Having used Melodyne now for a few years, I doubt there would be any reason for me to consider going back to using V-Vocal.  I think this is one case where Cakewalk was a bit late to the show.

I tried the original V-Vocal one tracks when it was first introduced (as I didn't have Melodyne at that point) and the artifacts that were placed on the material made it sound metallic and obvious that it was being processed.  Once I tried the trial of Melodyne I was convinced.

I'd personal like Cakewalk to focus on being the best DAW it can be and worry less about trying to add plug-ins (or VSTi for that matter) to the product.  I love that there is the ability to use third party plugins via VST support as these vendor specialize in doing that.

I just think a couple simple fixes could make this SO MUCH more usable, instead of just being another bundled ad-on.
