32 bit. I use the VST plug in's that come with it. Studio instruments pack. Comes with drums, keys, a million synths, string section and bass, Plus a lot of different plug in's. It will keep you busy for a long time..............

So if my computer is Win 7 64 I just run it in 32 bit mode? Will it adversely affect the amount of memory usage to the point of problems?Im currently running 4 gb of RAM.Thanks in advance!

Sonar VS will run in 32 bit mode, and there is no reason you couldn't use EZ Drummer with it, although I have not tried that myself. Make sure you load the 32 bit version of EZ Drummer though. As for NI Komplete - I don't have experience with it, but again - if you load the 32 bit version you will be fine. You can't run 64 bit plugins in 32 bit hosts - even if Windows is 64 bit.

Will there be memory issues? Likely not! If you only have 4 gig in the machine to start with Sonar VS can see all of that and will be able to use as much as Windows let's it use. If you put 8 gig in, Sonar can still only use 4, but it will have exclusive access to 4 gig! There are many of us running Sonar Producer on 32 bit setups with 4 gig of ram. It should not be a problem.

Don't fix it in the mix ... Fix it in the take!

    the vs100 drivers are excellent.
the op is asking about the software that comes with the vs 100, it is 32 bit only.
if you are using sonar x1 64bit you're good to go with the vs 100.
