video/audio cards same irq no problem

Hi everybody...
 
Two weeks ago installed a brand new 1616m pcie, drives and patchmix from install cd in a win 7, dp55wb, i750. Fooled around with Sonar 8.5.3 mixing/recording/listening at 24 bits 48 Khz with no problems at 3 ms latency...
But today I checked IRQ assingments and found video card, 1616m and two more items sharing irq 16... How this can be?... By the readings in this forum (and others) y should have tons of pops-crackles-dragons-etc...but I do not have them... just clear audio...
Not that I am not happy with my luck...just curious about  how this can be...
Please..can somebody explain?....

    When drivers are written properly, we don't have to worry about IRQ sharing or balancing. "Properly" means doing the minimum in the interrupt handler and deferring as much as possible to DPC (deferred procedure calls) which are insensitive to IRQ sharing and make better use of multiple cores.
