didn't see that track  AND.... you should not post music here unless it directly relates to a question about MC....

So... please use the SONGS forum to post music for general review and feedback

Guitarhacker- I see that you spend ALOT of time on the internet, thats great (13,265 comments). But maybe try not being such a forum bully. I was simply posting a song that I used MC to record and produce and wanted the members feedback. Please refrain from replying to my posts if you are going to be a Debbie Downer. I love constructive critisism, but didn't take your comments as something that would give  me any direction.

    Much Appreciated.

Herb can surely speak for himself, but he is right about the song thing. There is a great song forum here that will get you a lot more feedback. We have all posted songs here, but cake has encouraged us to post them there and keep this forum for MC5 issues.

I'm sure herb did not mean any offense he is one of the real good guys here and very active on the songs forum. He actually WAS giving constructive input, that will get you what you want.

Try also to remember 2 very important things, 1. what people say on a forum does not include the true feeling of the words, and 2. If you don't like what people say you don't have to respond.

Finally i listened and it was nicely done. Not my style but still pretty good. With that type of music i find it hard to tell if it is cleanly recorded as fuzz and noise are kind of the objective. i liked the vocals, and the song though. Really place a link on the songs forum and let's see what feedback you get there.

Barry, I didn't intend to try to make you mad.

this forum works well because people abide by the rules set by Cakewalk, not me. The songs forum is where you need to post your music.

If you post here, it's OK, but it should reference something about MC, which your post did not do. If you were having a problem using Soundcenter in MC5 and you wanted us to hear the problem in the music. this would be the appropriate place to post that song since it did reference MC....

Second, I went to the link and could not find the song you were speaking about. I was planning to review it regardless of you posting it here as opposed to the correct place, the song forum.

Rob is right, you will get a bunch of folks listening and commenting there since that's were we expect to find songs posted for review and feedback.

I have to admit that I was going to click on the link to check out the tune, but reply 3 was so uncalled for, and against a person who has been soooooo helpful to me, that I decided not to check out the tune. Guitarhacker is soooo far from being rude.

it's easy to misunderstand what people mean in the typed word of a forum.  guitarhacker meant no harm and I'm pretty sure barry is over it since he's thanked guitarhacker for listening over on the songs forum.
