Opening a sampler GUI on a Simple Instrument Track from the Console View

I'm using the Console View

I'm looking for the quickest way to pop up the softsynth GUI on a Simple Instrument track.  Using the Normal Softsynth tracks, all I have to do is to double click the  output button on the midi track and Superior drummer will pop up for example.  Unfortunately, a Simple Instrument track doesn't show the output for the midi side of the equation so there's nothing to click on.

I've tried some modifier key + click combinations but nothing seems to work.

Dave, double click the little icon between the track number and the track name.

Yeah Track View Dave - sorry I didn't include that. I always think of the Track Header being in the TV. Not sure abut the CV.

I see it would also help to read your OP regarding the CV - my bad.

I don't see a way to get'er done in the CV.

I wonder if this is something hidden that Benstat can uncover?  The parameter for the midi channel is in underneath that interface hidden somewhere.  Maybe there is a way to toggle it.

That's a pretty good call, and I suppose if it can be done, benstat can do it.
