X1B so far - and some questions

Well the good news is I've been using X1B and only had one crash so far (I told it to disconnect Battery, and it froze).

Of course the UI is still frustrating (and the help makes it more so.  The search function has to be one of the worst I've EVER used).

Still, I'm going to not go over all the stupid changes in the UI again, but instead going to ask some questions that can hopefully be answered (actually one quick rant, bring freaken back separate piano roll and track view snap settings)

1.  Single click in the piano roll moves my now time.   This is really frustrating because I also use single click to deslect a group.  Anyway to stop this (I like double click to change now time).

2.  When I double click to enter the piano roll, it seem to follow to the correct time.  I have to move it to the notes.

3.  How do you minimze the multi dock quickly.  Note, not being able to close the piano roll with X has already caused me to close Sonar probably 10 times (thanks again Cake   )

Anyway, thanks for the help, and for listening,

Mathew

    1. In the Track view, choose Options > Click Behavior from the Track view menu to control how clicking affects the Now Time.

    2. If you want the PRV to open at the same Now Time at which you click, then you can't disable left-clicking to move the Now Time (as in number 1). When left-clicking moves the Now Time, you can double-click the top-half of a clip and the PRV will open at the same point in the project at which you clicked.

    3. Press D to open/close the MultiDock. Press Shift+D to maximize/minimize the MultiDock.

So it's one or the other huh.

I'll have to think about that.  Thanks though Scott, really :)

Oops, looks like I can add some more crashes to the list.

Working in my project got one instance of battery 3 running.  Add a second, everything is fine.  Mess around with the second for a bit, and then decide I don't need it.  I delete the second and everything freezes.  I reload, this time I'm able to delete the second, but then I when I delete it's midi/audio tracks everthing feezes.

    going to try again, sigh...
