Copy Dialog in X1B...there's still some holes in this here cheese.

So I'm pretending it's Swiss...

Sometimes the Copy dialog pops up when I hit Ctrl-C and sometimes it doesn't in ol X1B.  And, unfortunately, I happen to be one of those nitwits that WANTS it to pop up.  Is there a way to get it to always pop up?  I've already rebound Ctrl-V to "paste special" as I want the dialog there too.  I've looked around a bit but haven't found a "always show copy dialog on Ctrl-C".  Does such an animal exist?

And sorry, bakers, X1B is better...but there's still too much sketchyness.  Way too much.  Wish I could report different.  Honest.

As I understand it, Ctrl-C will show it's dialog - only when it is needed.

If you have a selection without any markers, automation, key changes or tempo changes there is no reason for the dialog to come up - it will just copy the the selection into the clipboard. But if any 1 of the others is in the selected area, you will get the dialog box to see if you want to include it.

Really?  So I just have to trust that its going to copy what I want how I want?  I'm sure most everyone will prefer this.  But I am borderline OCD and I want to know that what I want in the manner I want is going to copied.  Seems like there should be a way to make the dialog mandatory.  It's not like I can't learn to work without it.  But Geeze Louise, you should ADD stuff to something NOT TAKE IT AWAY!!!  It isn't progress to digress.

I knew you would have some reservation about it. It is like flying blind. Of course if it screws up the world we can sue!

Seems ot me you are doing that anyway, trusting that the selections you make in the dialog will be honored. Just sayin'...
