In general I like the sound of Superior Drummer best. In it you can choose brushes for drumsticks. The N.Y. Avatar brush kit sounds great. And you also have a key (D#3) with that sweeping "sturing the soup" sound to get the nice jazzy feel too :)

EZ Drummer has their sample kits on sale for $39 (you'll need the EZ Drummer software which is $79). I just got the Nashiville & DFH kit over HERE. Quote from the site: " Jazz Expansion Pack for EZdrummer Featuring Roy "Futureman" Wooten - Electronic Delivery With the Jazz EZX, you can tap into the sound and abilities of drum and percussion virtuoso Roy "Futureman" Wooten. Futureman is widely known as the percussive force behind Bela Fleck and the Flecktones among others, and his innovative drumming crests well beyond simply keeping time."

jamesyoyo Guitarpima XLN Audio also has the Jazz Sticks ADpak as well. I have the brushes pak and it is very good. I have and love this as well. But I do admit to finding it hard to mix. I made a few presets for AD. I use the "split notes to tracks" cal and just mix using the input gain on the individual drum part's midi track. It's worked well for me. I also bounce the snare to an audio track so I can get some reverb. Although, the reverb takes away from the brushes so I don't use reverb there.

+1 for the EZDrummer Jazz kit: nice jazz sounds, sitting well in the mix, very useable jazz midis (including brush) on board.

I also recommend the Toontrack Jazz EZX. I got a chuckle when I received a promo email from them that referenced this Computer Music review, which remarked: "The only real issue is, inevitably, that this is a very specific tonal palette, which may not be hugely useful for anything other than jazz styles. The inclusion of the 22” kick offers enough power for one half of a backbeat, but the snares, cymbals and toms are very jazzy indeed – as they should be, of course. So, if you’re in the market for a 100% authentic, 100% playable jazz drum kit, this is a winner. If you’re after something more versatile, though, be aware that when Toontrack say Jazz, they really mean it." The text of their email simply said "Yes, we really mean it."

bapu jamesyoyo I have and love this as well. But I do admit to finding it hard to mix. James, can you explain that? Do you mean the kit or Addictive in general? Ed: No, just the brush snare sound. It is kinda thin, and occupies the mids in a way that kinda clashes with a full accompaniment. Addictive is tremendous at out-of-the-box presets, so much so than Superior, but doesn't have all the ridiculous amount of control that you can get with Toontrack. The kick drums in AD simply have a hard time getting through in a mix.
