Can anyone recommend Pyro?

I'm looking for a media center that lets you rip, burn, organize, etc.

Anyone got any recommendations (not Windows Media Player!)

    Free version is useful, but if you want to use FLACs, you need the pay version which is pretty cheap considering all that it does.

    I have the latest version of Pyro Audio Creator as well as Pyro 2004.  I really liked Pyro 2004.  However Audio Creator isn't as good for organizing entire CDs.  Although I use both.  If all you want to do is minimal editing and burning.  AC is probably OK.  But for more serious stuff, I'd recommend something else.  I'm going to go with Sony CD Architect.  It's about $99, but looks well worth it.

    I use Pyro 2005 on one of my old Windows XP machines because it is very simple and works great, unfortunately it is not supported on Windows 7.  Audio Creator isn't quite the same thing as Pyro from what I saw of a demo.   I use CD Architect on my Windows 7 machines for burning my songs, but keep my XP machine up and running for CD rip, burn CD's/DVD's etc.....   Sony also has a lite version of Soundforge Professional called Soundforge Audio Studio.   I think they have demo downloads of the product.

    My rather short stint with Pyro... Found out it saved my CD session (song order) in reverse order (you have to redo it.. or get this .. opensavecloseopen again every time you want to reuse the session.
    Now I figured 'this will be some bug up date I need... Turns out it'd been going on (at least a few years in the forum IIRC), with no fix far as I saw.
    Now it says 'no valid files to burn' or some such, so fftt.. I don't even bother with it now.
