Does X1 have a spectrum display tool ?

For all the hype on 'correct' mixing techniques by balancing sounds in the mix, it'a a little surprising that a visual spectrum tool isn't available as an insert FX. Seeing the spectrum for instruments in the mix can be a huge help in adjusting eq, etc. After all, it is called Sonar, and as a submariner, sonar interfaces are visual, not based on ear techniques.

There is one. Analyst. It also has the interesting feature where it can write automation based on the level of a range of frequencies. I'm not sure what use that is but it is kinda cool.

    And Voxengo's Span is great.

Thanks for pointing me at Analyst. It works fine, but Voxengo's better. Maybe if I figure out how to use the automation data, it will be more interesting.
