More Baritone Demos and a GS Mini Demo

Here are some more demos to appease the crowd. Thatsastrat asked for a demo of the baritone using mics. Dlogan and Morenoise were inquiring about the GS Mini.

Hi Scott ,thanks for appeasing the crowd . That Gs Mini sounds a lot bigger than it looks, excellent playing btw. Using the direct sound in addition to a mic sure brings out the lows on that baritone, very nice.  Thanks for sharing.

    Rik,
Thanks for listening to the demos and for the kind words. Yep, the GS Mini is amazingly big for being small. It keeps right up with my Taylor 610.

    Thatsastrat,
That one's got my vote too.

Very nice. Checked out the videos on the Taylor site, too. The sound is fantastic (and will beat the heck out of my daughter's $200 Fender acoustic). I was worried it would be too small but I think it's just the right size for her - she's about 5'3" and has small hands and I think she's done growing, so it seems perfect for her.

    Thanks!!

    Dave,
    Happy to help.

    Mr. Larry,
Thanks! I agree. The guitar is a grand symphony size...no larger than normal, the neck could be slightly longer scale though. The strings sure are fat and bar chords are real fun on this puppy.

Thanks Frank! 'm lovin' the huge sound! I think I'll team it up with my 12-string Taylor 355ce and see how the two sound together.

you must own stock in Taylor...
How much time per month do you spend changing strings?

you're such a great player...  I really like your style and sound...

    Frank,
LOL...I only own four Taylors, which is not quite enough to claim stock options, but I am a die hard Taylor fan for sure.   I hardly ever change strings...maybe once a year. I appreciate the compliment, although I can't hold a candle to you.

Wow!!  Taylor stock!  That's funny.  I think!  :-)  Beautiful.

That certainly is funny! Thanks for listening, Warren! Lemme know if you ever need any baritone on one of your songs.
