New Firefox 4 is not user friendly, how can it be customized?

Got the new Firefox 4 and is not user friendly but since I've been a firefox user, it makes sense to use it despite its shortcomings.  One is the button layouts - most of them are fixed and don't appear to be customizable as far as placement.  There's also a address indication bar that pops up in the lower left hand corner every time you hover the pointer over a link, bookmark or anything that has a web address associated with it (really annoying but can be useful depending on a users use).  How can this feature be disabled?  The home button is also on the far right hand corner, opposite side of the back and forward button which a lot of people were already accustomed to having it on the left side.  You can't even drag the navigation toolbar further to the right side but you can drag the search toolbar to the left side (really annoying and doesn't make sense).  Mozilla should aim on making their web browser customizable and user friendly rather than having things locked in place.

I'm liking FF4... but trying to figure out why Ctrl-E doesn't get me up to the search box as it once did.  Hmmmm...
