Adjust Pitch for Step Sequencer?

Hey everyone, hope you're all doing well!

Here's my prob...

I'm currently working on a bass line in the step sequencer, however, the only bass I liked for this particular jam only has one pitch... Any ideas on how I can adjust the pitch to flow with the melody?

Thanx in advance!

That's a good one. Never heard of such a thing. What synth?

In step sequencer, different rows represent different note numbers. When used with a drum synth, those note numbers trigger different drum sounds. With any conventional synth sound, note numbers will correspond to pitches (e.g. 60 is Middle C). Maybe you just need to use and/or add more rows...?

EDIT: IMO, the Piano roll View (PRV) is a better place to compose a bass line, or any other melodic part, than Step Sequencer.

If you're stuck with only one pitch... try bouncing that track to audio... then use V-Vocal to shift some notes around. If it were me, I'd get a different bass...
