Vista 64 can't find soundcard

Hi all,
 
Following problems with midi dropout when using Step Sequencer and Session Drummer 3 I installed updated drivers for my Midi interface and Audio interface.
 
Sonar8.5 recognises the new drivers and will play out , however, nothing else in the PC will, so no CD, DVD, WMP, YouTube or other web-based audio. I can't find out how to make this seemingly basic adjustment to the settings in Vista 64.
