Upgrade to X1

Hi
It's about time I upgraded to XI Producer, am I best to buy a boxed disc set, or download from
Cake,is there any difference ie. Serial number, patches etc. If I go for the boxed set, does it come with
the serial number, and then  just download the patches ?

Thanks

I got the boxed version from etcetera.co.uk, cheaper than the download price. You get the registration code in the box

Well it was true for me (although only a small difference, but then I had the disks without paying extra). Not sure if it's to do with the conversion from dollars to sterling, and the fact that we pay 20% VAT. The OP is in Scotland, so will have the same pricing structure as me.

£76 is a great price and Dolphin have just started doing free delivery. THe only downside is you have to wait a few days.

That's about $120 US dollars...  better than what *I* paid for it!   Ah well, it's all well worth it for me!  I bought X1 Studio and upgraded to Producer via download later on.

That's the price for the upgrade from Producer 8.5, so it's more expensive than you pay in the US
