Can anyone help me find bands or artists that sound like this?

Lately, I've been in the mood for a specific type of music that I can't seem to find. I've asked friends and acquaintances for referrals, but the bands and artists they quoted me weren't what I had in mind. So I figured, maybe actual music professionals will be able to guide me.
I'm looking for heavy guitars with an urban loop rhythm section. In other words, Jay-Z or Fort Minor style drums, but with loud guitars. The main vocal can be rapped or sung, doesn't matter. As long as there's that dirty, thick drum loop with loud guitars. I would also accept movie-soundtrack beats, like Paul Oakenfold's, set to loud guitars.
People have suggested The Prodigy, but they don't really use actual guitars, and their drum beats are more drum n' bass (ie, hyper-speed) than urban. Not into the drum n' bass stuff.
Fort Minor was another suggestion, and those drums are wicked, but there are no loud guitars there.
The closest thing I've found was the first album of Methods of Mayhem, back in 1999.
Can anyone suggest anything that would fit the bill? Preferable something recent, although at this point beggars can't be choosers.
