Strange audio problem due to 32/64 bit issues?

Strange audio problem, is it due to 32/64 bit issues?

I've started to get strange sound problem when I upgraded to Sonar X1.
My theory for my problem, as I assume many others also have, is a well-known 32/64 bit issues.

My sound card started to behave very strangely after installing Sonar X1 and we were only about 1 distinguished from cases out of 3 to 4.
I tried to install ASIO4ALL, rather than E-mu's own drivers, which did not matter. It worked in all cases only occasionally.
After a bit more search, I found this clip on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkMUAR9hOy8&feature=feedlik
I checked around a bit more on the network when this clip does not give me any results. Then I found that you could turn off the multi-core use of the sound card.
After I had done this does my E-mu Tracker Pre sound card work fine.

Now, it is not just to blame E-mu for it seems that there are several manufacturers that have the same problem. I found one person who was very upset at M-Audio and another one that was darned on ESI

I'm pretty upset on sound card manufacturers for why should you settle for not being able to run your computer in full the capacity....

cheers/
