Audio to MIDI

Is it possible to convert a audio track to a MIDI track? If so how I cant figure it out

    For simple drum replacement you can use AudioSnap. If you actually want something with a melody you can use V-Vocal. Not sure how well documented it is. I tried it one time with OK results. There were some hidden options you will need to configure to make it sound good. I think the problem I ran into was it changed the lenght slightly of the midi clip. But perhaps that was cause I didn't know what I was doing. Anyways, look up help for V-Vocal and see what you can find.

    If its something else than drums, piano, clean guitar or similar clean and clear, the results can be from less than satisfactory to useless.

    Melodyne and many versions of other pitch-correctors include that function, too.

    +1 Melodyne  so far from what I've read  it's the only one that actually said to work.
