Trouble with erasing transient markers in Loop Construction View

I'm running a 64bit version of Sonar X1b on a Vista 64 OS Setup.
I did not have this problem with Sonar 8.5 or earlier.
While working on Groove Clips it's a bit bizarre but the Erase Transient Select tool doesn't work. No matter how many times I click on it, it doesn't seem to respond. In other words Erasing transients cannot be used. Perhaps this is going to be fixed but I thought I'd best see if there is a solution. I have found an alternate way of dealing with this by using the resolution or moving transient markers on top of other markers, but it only messes me up if I have inserted maybe a few too many markers then I'll have to start over or I have to move them around on top of other red markers to get rid of them or overlap them if they are greyish violet markers. I'm not even sure if this is good for the clip or even aware that the more makers I have used may add pressure to the CPU performance, especially if I have loads of groove clip files with lots of transient makers in the project using up valuable resources.
I've contacted tech Support and they suggested to upgrade from X1a to X1b, I tried that and replied back to Sonar Technical that this didn't work.
It's been a over a week and I have no reply back from them. So while I'm still waiting for a reply maybe it would be quicker to leave a thread here to get an answer. I had a few other queries as well in my original email I sent to Sonar Technical to look into, perhaps that's why they are taking so long to reply and going to send me a response covering everything all at once. I'm going to add these as well to the forum.

The tools inside the Loop Construction view do not work. You need to use the global tools from the Tools module on the Control Bar located at the top of the SONAR workspace.

Ahh Sweet, Thanks Scott.

I wonder why Sonar made it like this. But never mind I can get used to it with kb shortcuts.

Respectful Regards Mate.

I see my confusion as this is quite misleading due to the balloon tips being wrong.

It says on the loop construction erase balloon tip press (E)..... pressing E doesn't enable this function.

Also (M) doesn't work to reset the Markers. Instead the Add Markers Dialog box comes up instead????

Pushing T is quite handy with the Tool box coming up and I've learnt the F5, F6...F10 etc.... quick keys that help. But this could have been made simpler I think.

It would help that if the Loop Construction View (when in focus) had quicker Key Bindings: (T=Select) (E=Erase) (M=Rest Markers) and they work straight away rather than features coming up that arn't needed.

Perhaps there are other views that may have this problem as well, and that I haven't got round to using yet.
