3 party side chaining compressor

Hi
  What 3rd party side chaining compressor are the majority of you guys using?  (just wanted to know)

    Don't use a third-part compressor when side-chaining is needed, as the Sonitus Compressor (or in some cases, the Sonitus Gate) serves that function just fine. You usually choose an alternative compressor for its character, but much of that character becomes irrelevant as soon as you sidechain it.


    All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

    It is my understanding that Sonar doesn't side chain with many 3rd party comps (not all, but many) even thought the compressor supports it. There are a few threads in the X1 forums about this.

    I will agree with Bitflipper - Sonitus works great.

    Don't fix it in the mix ... Fix it in the take!

    I use Izotpe Alloy.

    It's a great all around plugin.  Does EQ, compression, limiting etc all right there.
