Waves is also selling IR-L, a convolution reverb, for 25 bucks.  I have no idea how good a deal this is other than it's only 25 bucks.

However, I've read *so* many tales of how Waves has thoroughly mistreated honest, paid up customers, than even without the ILOK requirement, I'd be quite reluctant to send them money for anything.  In my mind, they've got a lot of atonement to demonstrate before I'd consider doing business with them ... that's just based on stories I've heard here, but I've heard too many of them.

    Hi
I'm one of those stories - I used to be a big Waves user but after they had ripped me off with GTR (when released it DID NOT WORK and then they wanted to charge me a considerable amount for one that did work when they eventually upgraded it!) I stopped buying ANYTHING that was to do with Waves. To be honest I still have my old everything package of Waves plug ins and  still use occasionally things like the EQ, but once they stop working for whatever reason, I will not pay Waves money just for an upgrade that should either be minimal or free. I think my story is far from unique.
