Press the keyboard "Scroll Lock" button.  That should do it.

Press the Scroll Lock (Scr Lk) key on your PC keyboard to toggle scrolling.

Or you can left-click in the Track view to temporarily stop scrolling. Just make sure the Options > Click Behavior > Left Click Locks Scroll option is activate in the Track view menu.

Scott when i left-click in the Track view (in an empty area) to temporarily stop scrolling, it doesn't stop the scrolling, if i click and drag a little bit then it will stop scrolling, is this normal behavior? ( i have all my settings set correct: Options > Click Behavior > Left Click Locks Scroll option is activate)
P.S. i've purchased your last 2 books on Sonar and will eventually get the X1 as well when i am using it more.

    Hi Tommy,

You can't click in the blank space... you need to click someone on a clip and that will stop the scrolling.

Thanks! I hope you enjoy the book.
