Why did you take it down? I never understand it when people do that. I had a listen before bed last night, it was pretty good, guitars and vocals were well done, drums were a bit mechanical and MIDI sounding. Good choice for a cover, 'Who Do We Think We Are' is sort of the 'lost' Purple album, there's some great tunes on there.

I've re-posted the song. It was getting very little to no attention, I just figured it wasn't folks cup of tea.
Thanks for the drums comment I am redoing them now. You were 100% correct.

I'll look forward to hearing the new version then. Actually a lot of the drums are fine, the intro's great, it's in the verses where there's a lot of snare hits, it sounds stiff. You could turn the bass up a bit too...

I like what you've done with the main riff.   I think I know the kind of sound you're aiming for and to me you've caught it spot on - you haven't over-used gain on the gtr and have kept things really punchy in the bass and drums.

I wasn't 100% convinced by the organ sound - there are a couple of organ sounds in the Sonar synths that sound more like Jon Lord (eg All Out Distorted in Dim Pro), assuming that's what you're aiming for, but that's nitpicking.

There quite of bit of compression effects with the voice and the guitar.  When the voice comes in the guitar quickly fades out and it is kind of annoying.  The organ sound need some reverb to add more space to it because it sounds too much in your face.  Otherwise nicely played.  The drums are really good.

Hey Vechung man you're right. I went to the soundcloud file and listened and was amazed. I then went to the tracks and listened and it wasn't there...It must be the conversion soundcloud does when they convert to mono.
I am setting up another server spot for my tunes. I have a bunch of songs on Soundclick...I suppose I should just go back there.

    Thanks.

Hey Combo...I need to fix that, you're right also. I generally use NI B4 but didn't on this one and should have. I will fix that as well. They actually have  "Lord 1" and "Lord 2" presets. Thanks
