Sonar 8.5 and X1 compatibility with i7 970 6 Core and 64 bit O/S

Sonar 8.5 and X1 compatibility with i7 970 6 Core and 64 bit O/S

Hey -

Just built an i7 970 machine running Windows Home premium 64bit.  It's a 6 core processor.

I own Sonar PE 8.5 and X1....

Would prefer to use 8.5 until I am more comfortable switching X1 (my projects initially barfed on X1, and I have not yet installed and run X1b)....

So the question is:
Does 8.5PE take advantage of i7's 6 Cores and 64 Bit OS? (I could not tell on the Cakewalk support page for this  (they only mentioned 8.5LE).  If not 6 core 'compatible', do you know of 8.5PE takes advantage of running in 64bit?

My understanding is that X1 is fully ably to address the 6 cores and 64 bit.

Recommendations? (and thanks All!)
