You can emulate a LA2A in Sonitus right now.

Na, I want it integrated in PC
I have a UAD LA-2A but have control now over the PC comp with my bcr2000 with the push of a bank button. I was just thinking how nice a LA-2A would go with that 1176 and SSL 4K. -  seems natural.

    Yeah! I'm for that...

I'm surprised... I can't imagine wanting to replace UAD's LA-2A as it's such a wonderful virtualization... I wish I could affor to own it!

I'd love to have a clone as good as that... Do you find the Sonitus to sound near as good? I've used the Sontius many times (tho it's not my goto...), but I think the LA-2A would be a very useful choice to have in Prochannel... If I owned them (hardware) I'd probably opt for them more often than most of my other comps...!

Thanks for the reminder Mike... I'll have to give the Sonitus another listen (in LA-2A emulation settings)...

With a stooping tweak back of the code but my plug is ProChannel centric now.

Bugger an emulation. I want a real one bundled with X1C.

I'm not sure how an onwards or backwards can be be inferred from the circumstance.

Is it the fact that a compressor like Sonitus has all the extra parameters that typify a full featured compressor that requires the *stooping* tweak?

    best regards,

    Yes.

To go back to the sonitas eq would be DEVO.

I remember the Saturday night that Devo debuted "I Can't Get No Satisfaction" on nationally broadcast live television. I find it wildly ironic that even the word Devo seems to have suffered the effects of devolution.

Devo: Short for devolution. Meaning to regress or degenerate. To evolve backwards.

    Enjoy your cripple ware!!!

    :-)
