Is there a software based program I can get and use in Cakewalk 8.5 le to have better sounds then my computer card for midi playback
I used to use a VSC8 I beleive and it was better than my sound card for playing back midi files.
Thanks

What software are you using? SONAR HS, Studio and Producer have several soft synths to choose from. LE does not have, unless you've got the Production Pack. At www.kvraudio.com you can find soft synths and such, both commercial and free.

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.

There are a couple soft synths available on the LE.  They should be selectable in the lower right hand corner.
