Enhancement request - saving preference pages?

I don’t think something like this exists, but wouldn’t it be nice to have a way to save all your configuration settings in a word or a text file with a one button press (preferably from one of the Preferences pages)?  This way, you could print out, or just store the file some place safe and have a permanent record of all those settings when things went wacky. Basically, this would print out all the pertinent pages of the Preferences pages.

Is this anything that those super programmers Benstat or Panup could pull off?

Just a thought…..

Why a print out or human-readable file? A backup of the binary files would serve as well - just reinstall Sonar then overwrite the new prefs files with the originals, then open the prefs dialogue and make any changes needed. Easier than messing about with text files (or, worse, very lengthy printouts) I would have thought.

The question is, which particular files need backing up to secure all the prefs data?

A function that lets you save out all the relevant prefs files/data would be very useful.

    Sonar Platinum 64bit, Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit, I7 3770K Ivybridge, 16GB Ram, Gigabyte Z77-D3H m/board,
ATI 7750 graphics+ 1GB RAM, 2xIntel 520 series 220GB SSDs, 1 TB Samsung F3 + 1 TB WD HDDs, Seasonic fanless 460W psu, RME Fireface UFX, Focusrite Octopre.
Assorted real synths, guitars, mandolins, diatonic accordions, percussion, fx and other stuff.
