T Racks multifile application. Can this be done with SONAR??
Im thinking of buying T Racks Standard for the multi-file processing application. (all songs for the CD can be loaded, processed, and exported with single click as CD master) Can this be done within SONAR? What are other choices for doing this. Thanks, Jeff

Hi Jeff, i've been using T-Racks 3 since it came out. This loading of files and processing them then export with a single click for Cd master is not a function within t-Racks. Are you maybe mistaking it with some other plugin? I'd be interested where you read this info about T-racks. It's the sort of thing you can do in Sony's Sound Forge or Cd Architect

YOu're right I just checked it out. but it's a feature of the standalone version not the plugin. that's why I've never noticed it. I've always used it as a plugin.

The "standard" version seems like a good addition to my arsenal and SONAR. Package for standard version is $199 usd I will download the demo and check it out today.

I've learned something new. Because I have other software that does this I never even took any notice of the T-Racks stand alone version. Now I have even more choices. What a terrible problem to have. Thanks Jeff - without your post who knows how long before I'd stumbled on this; if ever. As much as I read manuals and I even have the T-Racks mixing and mastering handbook and I still missed it.

Not embarrassed. There's far more I have yet to learn. It's the same with SONAR or any DAW. just when I think i've got it pretty well mastered I'll read about someone doing such and such that I'd never even been aware of or thought of. they're all such deep programs. If you can wait IK Multimedia pretty regularly have specials and group buys that will help you save a bundle. another thing to look at is iZotopes Alloy which is a mixing /track version of Ozone 's matering plugin. Go to esoundz.com as they often have group buys for IKMultimedia plugins and are often cheaper for the same package as from the IK site. As far as the T-Racks plugins they're pretty good and the metering module which forms part of the basic module into which you load the other modules and create your plugin chains is one of the very good points of the whole suite of plugins. I bought the whole lot as singles. The standard version is pretty much the older style modules while the deluxe version includes them and the newer type plugins.
