Does anyone know how to make the midi song stop????

Hi all, this is probably a simple fix, but when I play a midi file, and it gets to the end of the song, it just keeps on going. Do I need to somehow put in a marker for the end of the song or is there a setting that should recognize this? Thanks for any help on this.

Not in front of my DAW now, but I believe its a setting under either Options>Global or Options>Project and check the box "Stop Project at End".  You should also check that there is no midi data sitting on one or more tracks at a measure somewhere far down stream of the end of the majority of tracks.

Thanks for the help, that would make sense, but I'm still having the issue, I'm using the latest producer version on Cakewalk and I don't even see the global featuer under the new "Preferences" menu.... I'll keep digging. I really appreciate your trying to help. Thanks again. There is a lot to understand in this program sometimes its overwhelming.

It's in the Track View Options menu now. I usually have it disabled, anyway, but it's working when enabled.

Make sure you don't have a MIDI Event out beyond the end of the song. That happens sometimes. Look in the Navigator or the Event List view.
