Notes on 'Disk may be Full.'
I got that message with a file that was not using a 64 bit depth and did not exceed the 2 gig limit mentioned somewhere. I tried:
* Bouncing to clips and Deleting unwanted tracks
* Consolidate Audio
* Select All > Apply Trimming
* Saving as a .bun, then unpacking it and resaving it
The only thing that worked for me was Select All > Copy / Paste to a new file.
That got me out of it but I still had to reinstate the following:
* Track groupings
* Routings
* Track Folders
* Track Effects
* Busses
* Bus effects
You can drag and drop the effects from the old file to the new by offsetting the windows but even after meticulously copying everything, the file may not sound the same but the 'Disk may be Full' message will no longer appear.
As for the cause, there's a connection with the Transpose Audio operation. I often get the error after that - but I can't claim it can be repeated reliably or that it's the only cause.
Thanks - rev
