Audio is oscillating when importing

Hey all, I am rendering waves in FL Studio 10 and importing them to Sonar 8.5 SE, but I am having audio issues with the waves. I am getting an oscillating effect. Is there something I am overlooking? FLStudio 10 is a 32 bit program and I am running Sonar as a 64 bit program. Don't know if that is the reason. Any light on the situation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Dan

what are the output parameters you're chosing for export from FL?  you say that FL is a 32bit program, but that is not the same thing as the bit depth for the wave file you're exporting.  are you exporting at 16 bit or 24bit or higher?  what sampling rate?  what is the sampling rate of your project in sonar?

When I render the tracks from FL10 to a wav file, it's being rendered at a 32 bit float depth at a sampling rate of 44100. Sample rate in Sonar is the same. 44100. Never had this before when I used Sonar in Vista 32bit, thought maybe that might be the problem. I dunno. I get real confused sometimes about all these sample rates and bit depths.

    Thanks

yes, all the different "bit and sampling rates" can be confusing.

does this happen for ALL exports from FL to import into sonar?  have you tried opening the exported wave file in something like Sound forge or Audacity to see if it's a problem coming from FL or if it's a problem during importing into sonar?
