Unless it was me on the skis, then it would be epic fail. I don't ski down the mountain, I snowball - can you say "Yardsale?" - yep. The snow looks gorgeous though, I'd love to be inside a lodge, drinking warm liquids and playing board games while watching others tear down the slopes...
Time for all of you to head over to Beyond My DAW!

Gonzo, I agree....the snow looks absolutely beautiful. And if you know how to ski and enjoy it, that actually looks fun. Glad you got to enjoy it. I was thoroughly delighted to actually have a warm and sunny day for a change. And it could stay like this for decades as far as I'm concerned. :)

I am off ski-ing week after next, so looking forward to it, and hope that there is some serious dump :) Little bit nervous about taking the baby across france when she is 8.5 weeks old, but hopefully it will encourage her to have an adventurous spirit :) Love that starwars band picture, and of course Vader would be the bass player, who else could carry the f'ing amp. well, the really cool thing about this. the impressive thing....... is the current stats up there: almost 600" of snowfall and the current base is more than 14 feet deep! LOL that's our drinking water for all of next year.... and the ONLY drinking water we will get.

And we're supposed to get more snow tomorrow. Just in time for my outdoor weekend getaway to Capitol Reef. I should know better than to do these things in April, but it's just how the schedule worked out... I love the stormtrooper in the audience. He looks so forlorn.

I always saw Han Solo as a Tele man. Are there any 'skiing' songs? Like 'driving' songs?

If i ever got my shizzle together enough to take a mp3 player out ski-ing with me (unlikely actually given i value the early warning sign of a scream when a newbie is about to take me out from behind) However if i ever did, it would have to be something classical i think. Wagner’s “Ride of the Valkyries" would be amazing, especially if there was no-one else around. G
