q: Sonar 7 on new processors ?
Hey.
I'm thinking to upgrade computer in future.
I'm using Sonar 7 PE.
How's sonar 7 on newer cpu's (core i7, sandybridge) & 64 bit enviroment ?
Would sonar 7 use the maximum of the processors ?
Thanks.

Yes, Sonar will use all cores and it works fine on the new ones and it will work in 64 bit.
But your sound card and other hardware will need good 64bit drivers, that work well in 64bit..

I recently built an i7-based PC and Sonar 7PE runs on it just fine. I am still using Windows XP through (which also runs on it without any issues).

Ok, thanks for replies.

I don't have S7 (I skipped that version) but S6 runs fine on my win7x64 i5.
