Melodyne Essential with SHS7

I just ordered this yesterday But I didn't think to check if it's compatable with my DAW . It said that it "works as a plug-in (VST, AU, RTAS) in compatible DAWs under Mac OS X and Window" and that it's Win7 compatible but it has only been tested with Sonar 8.5. It does come with a Stand alone application, so I could export wave files into that. But would like to know if anyone out there has used it with success in SHS 7 and if so what steps need to be taken in having a workable application

Thanks

I guess you'll find out when you get it.

It should work assuming it will work in Windows 7 64-bit.

So you think my concern should be more about my PC then my DAW?

HS7 uses VST so it should work fine.
as far as your pc goes almost all 32 bit applications work in 64 bit, (not the other way around though) so if they tested it in 32 bit it should also work in 64 bit.
It will only utilize up to 3 GB of ram but that should not cause a problem.
I think Hs7 is 32 bit only as well so that is only using 3 GB of ram also.

quick update: it works great, having lots of fun learning the craft of pitch correction. That being said; I see the importance of making the track sound as good and as in tune as possible. Too much correction makes the track sound like crap-ola not to mention time consuming
