Can someone help me out with this im missing an option

im watching this video but at 40 seconds in to it he right click ans picks NEW AUX SEND

how come i don't have that on mine ?

    have you read about the sidechaining?...do you have it set up with external effects hooked up now?

    are you using the ssl 4 k? only the ssl4k has the sidechaining ability.

    It's really easy.

    Put the side chain compressor into the track you want to be ducked.

    Then right click the track info block of  the signal you wish to send and there will be a send option to the side chain unit in the other track.

    everyone's obsessed with side chaining for some reason
